Former Senate President Lawan Urges Nigerian Government To Prioritize Health As A Fundamental Right
Police in Adamawa State have apprehended four alleged armed robbers and successfully retrieved a tricycle they purportedly stole from an individual named Nuhu Muhammad.
The incident occurred on Sunday, April 7, when Nuhu Muhammad raised an alarm after being attacked near Jimeta Bridge in Yola, the state capital, as per reports obtained by Daily Post.
According to a statement by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspected robbers were identified as Abdullahi Yusuf (22 years old), Umar Yahaya (20 years old), Hassan Ishaka (24 years old), and Shuaibu Abubakar (19 years old). These individuals are reported residents of Kwabura village in Hawal Local Government Area of Borno State.
The police statement outlined the sequence of events, indicating that the suspects boarded the tricycle as passengers heading towards a location near Viniklang, Girei Local Government Area. Upon reaching Jimeta Bridge, they allegedly assaulted the tricycle operator, threatening him with weapons, and forcibly ejected him from the vehicle before absconding with it.
