Four Injured In Serious Auto Accident On Lagos-Badagry Expressway On Sunday, a collision between a Mazda commercial bus and a Toyota car on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway resulted in four individuals sustaining various injuries.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

William Manga, the unit commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Badagry, confirmed the details of the incident on Monday. The crash occurred around 3:20 PM near the Agbo-Malu Bus Stop along the Age-Mowo stretch of the expressway.

“Our personnel were notified of the accident promptly and arrived at the scene just three minutes later, at 3:23 PM,” Manga reported.

The Mazda bus, registered as ABJ 95 YJ, and the Toyota car, with registration KTU 339 YJ, collided head-on while traveling from Badagry. A total of 18 individuals were involved in the crash, with four sustaining varying degrees of injuries. The injured were promptly taken to the General Hospital in Badagry for treatment.

Manga indicated that the cause of the accident was dangerous driving by both drivers involved. Following the incident, both vehicles were removed from the scene and transported to the FRSC office in Badagry.

The commander urged passengers to remind drivers to avoid speeding and emphasized the importance of caution for motorists using the one-lane expressway.
