Freedom Over Family? Bisola Reveals Sh*cking Stand On Marriage And Kids

Nigerian actress and reality TV star, Bisola Aiyeola, has shared that getting married or having more children is no longer a priority for her.

The 39-year-old made this revelation during a recent episode of the Dear Ife podcast, hosted by Ifedayo Agoro.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate explained that she’s currently more focused on her peace of mind, financial independence, and personal development rather than romantic relationships or expanding her family.

Bisola noted that she once gave herself a cut-off age for having more children, but now that she’s past 38, she has moved on from that goal.

“I’m not really invested in the idea of marriage anymore. If it comes, great. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too,” she said. “I told myself I wouldn’t want to have any more babies after turning 38. I’ve crossed that age and I’m still single, so I’ve accepted it. I think I’ve grown comfortable with being on my own.”

She added, “I still believe in love — it’s beautiful and sweet — but reality is different. Marriage isn’t the ultimate achievement. There are other things to pursue in life. I’m not desperate to get married.”
