Fresh Sh*ck For Nigerians As Cooking Gas Price Per Kg Hits New High This Week

Market surveys reveal that the cost of refilling Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly called cooking gas, remains inconsistent across Nigeria.

While a few stations have slightly reduced their prices, many still charge higher rates depending on depot sourcing costs, logistics, and location.

As of now, BOVAS filling stations and Ise-Olorun outlets sell at ₦990 per kilogram, making them the most affordable in recent months. In contrast, Rainoil maintains a price of ₦1,020/kg, while several independent distributors charge between ₦1,100 and ₦1,150/kg, depending on supply chain factors.
