From Edo to Everywhere: Tarex’s Mission to Mobilize Youth for Tinubu 2027....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a time when political engagement often feels distant from the grassroots, High Chief Lucky Ohimai—widely known as Tarex—is rewriting the script. As the Edo State Youth Coordinator for the Asiwaju 2027 reelection campaign, Tarex is not just rallying support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; he’s building bridges of opportunity, empowerment, and hope that stretch far beyond the borders of Edo State.
Mobilizing Youth, Empowering Communities
approach is deeply personal and profoundly impactful. His outreach efforts have mobilized thousands of youths, not just to support Tinubu’s reelection, but to become active participants in shaping Nigeria’s future. Through skill acquisition programs, vocational training, and direct empowerment initiatives, Tarex has invested heavily—financially and emotionally—in the lives of vulnerable young Nigerians.
From tech training to agriculture, fashion design to small-scale manufacturing, Tarex’s programs are equipping the next generation with tools to thrive. His work is a living embodiment of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda—a vision that promises inclusive growth, national stability, and youth-driven development.
️ Tinubu’s Reforms: The Foundation of Hope
Tarex’s efforts are not in isolation—they mirror the sweeping reforms initiated by President Tinubu, which are beginning to reshape Nigeria’s economic and social landscape:
- Petroleum Industry Reform: Under Tinubu, Nigeria has approved 28 new Field Development Plans, unlocking 1.4 billion barrels of oil and 5.4 trillion cubic feet of gas. These projects are expected to generate over 591,000 barrels of oil per day, boosting energy security and job creation.
- Fuel Subsidy Removal & Forex Unification: Though initially painful, these reforms have stabilized inflation, reduced food prices, and restored investor confidence. Inflation dropped from 34.8% in late 2024 to 21.82% by mid-2025.
- Youth-Focused Initiatives: The upcoming National Youth Confab and Consumer Credit Scheme Phase 2 are designed to deepen youth engagement and expand access to credit for business and personal growth.
- Security Overhaul: With a shift to intelligence-led policing, communities once plagued by violence are now returning to farming and trade, restoring livelihoods and local economies.
These reforms are not just policy—they are the scaffolding upon which Tarex builds his grassroots movement.
What makes Tarex’s mission extraordinary is not just its scale, but its sincerity. He has personally funded many of these initiatives, often reaching into his own resources to meet the needs of the less privileged. His belief in Tinubu’s vision is not rhetorical—it’s practical, visible, and deeply felt by those whose lives he’s touched.
Tarex is a reminder that politics can be people-centered. That campaigns can be about compassion. That leadership can be local, even as it aims for national transformation.
