Fubara’s Words Expose Him As The Architect Of Rivers Unrest – APC Bigwig
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Taofiq Raimi, has said that Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, openly admitted there was indeed a political crisis that warranted the six-month state of emergency declared by President Bola Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Raimi insisted that Fubara’s remarks confirmed beyond doubt that Rivers State was in turmoil.
He further argued that the governor not only acknowledged the existence of the crisis but also admitted being one of the key actors fueling it.
Raimi stated:
“This has finally settled the controversy over whether or not there was a crisis in Rivers. The governor himself identified three principal players—his predecessor and current Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, whom he even described as ‘our leader’; himself, when he said he was the crisis; and the Rivers State House of Assembly.
“After recognizing their roles, he also commended the President for acting as a father in brokering peace. He noted that calm has now been restored and that focus will return to democratic governance and developmental strides in the state.”
