Full List: Amaewhule, Wike Loyalists Sweep APC Reps Primaries

The Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, alongside eleven House of Representatives aspirants, has secured the All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) tickets to contest in the upcoming general elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Of the 11 successful aspirants, six are said to be loyalists of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and are seeking re-election, while Amaewhule and four others are contesting for the first time.

Below is the list of federal constituencies and APC candidates:

Meanwhile, Wike has reacted to public comments surrounding his recent visit to the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, insisting that he does not see political opponents as enemies.

He made the remarks while inspecting ongoing road projects in Karu, Apo-Karshi, and Kubwa in the Federal Capital Territory.

Wike clarified that his visit to the APC chairman was a private courtesy call and not a political event, as some had speculated.

He added that there was no obligation to publicly explain every personal relationship or interaction, especially those that predate current political alignments.

According to him, politics should not erase human relationships, stressing that people from different parties can still maintain cordial ties despite ideological differences.
