Funke Akindele Missing From Kamo’s Movie Premiere As His Mother Speaks Out

The mother of Nigerian skit maker and actor Kamo State has broken her silence over Funke Akindele’s absence from her son’s recent movie premiere, dismissing speculation that the actress’ absence was linked to an alleged fallout between them.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Kamo’s mother explained during a recent interview that Funke Akindele remains supportive of her son and was unable to attend the premiere simply because she was not in the country at the time.

She maintained that the actress was fully aware of Kamo’s new movie and the premiere, stressing that their relationship remains cordial despite her absence from the event.

“Funke Akindele is always supporting my son. She has never for once not supported him; it’s just because she wasn’t around. She knows everything going on with Kamo’s new movie and the premiere,” she said.

Kamo’s mother also disclosed that the relationship between her son and the actress extends beyond professional interactions. According to her, Kamo still visits Funke Akindele at her home, while the actress also visits him.

She added that the two maintain regular communication over the phone, further dismissing suggestions that Funke Akindele’s absence from the movie premiere was evidence of a disagreement between them.
