In a judgment issued on Friday, a three-member panel affirmed Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the rightful winner of the election.
Addressing reporters in Abuja on Friday, Ganduje commended the appellate court for delivering justice in the Kano state governorship election dispute.
The former Kano State governor expressed confidence that despite Yusuf’s potential appeal to the apex court, another defeat awaited him.
Ganduje optimistically anticipated a favorable outcome for the APC at the Supreme Court and advised Yusuf against expending time and resources pursuing the matter further.
He remarked, “Perhaps, they will take the case to the Supreme Court, as is their right in a democratic process.”
