Ganduje arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Saturday at about 4:30 p.m. aboard an Emirates Airlines flight, before travelling on to Abuja later that evening.
Sources said that upon his return, the former APC chairman is expected to embark on a series of consultations and meetings with stakeholders, focusing on the evolving political situation in Kano State.
A statement released on Saturday by his Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, confirmed that Ganduje would engage extensively with party leaders and other key stakeholders to assess recent political developments in the state.
“The consultations are intended to review current political trends and hold broad-based engagements with party leaders and stakeholders,” the statement noted.
Garba also disclosed that Ganduje would participate in the ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration exercise of the APC.
He explained that the e-registration initiative, introduced during Ganduje’s tenure as national chairman, was aimed at modernising the party’s membership database, improving internal planning, and ensuring accurate, credible and accessible membership records.
“The former governor remains committed to strengthening party structures and fostering inclusive dialogue to support democratic consolidation within the APC, particularly in Kano State,” the statement added.
