Give Tinubu Another Four Years— Adeleke Throws Weight Behind President’s Re-Election
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged Nigerians to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu another four years in office, declaring his support for the President’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Adeleke made the appeal on Wednesday during the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The governor argued that Tinubu needed more time to implement his reform agenda and enable the policies to deliver their expected benefits to Nigerians.
Speaking at the event, Adeleke maintained that four years would not be sufficient for the President to achieve all his objectives, urging citizens to support his bid for a second term.
“We must give our father, the president of this nation, time for his reforms to work. It’s not easy. Four years is not enough,” Adeleke said, explaining his decision to support Tinubu’s re-election.
The Osun governor also expressed confidence in the President’s chances in the 2027 election, calling on supporters to intensify their mobilisation efforts ahead of the polls.
He declared that the campaign had already begun and encouraged political stakeholders to work towards securing Tinubu’s return to the Presidential Villa for another four-year term.
Adeleke further urged Nigerians to continue praying for the President, insisting that the success of his administration would benefit the wider population.
He expressed optimism about the campaign, saying he believed the President would secure another term with the support of party leaders, loyalists and voters.
The governor’s endorsement comes after the APC named him as its campaign coordinator in Osun State on Tuesday, ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
His public declaration of support at the campaign council’s inauguration underscores the growing political mobilisation surrounding Tinubu’s re-election bid as the ruling party begins preparations for the forthcoming general election.
