Represented by Deputy Governor Dr Manassah Jatau at the 16th quarterly regional conference, Governor Yahaya emphasized the importance of tackling emerging security threats such as cybercrime, social media misuse, and governance-related abuses in addition to traditional challenges like banditry and terrorism.

“In our pursuit to ensure national security, it is imperative that we identify and address the root causes of criminal activities,” Governor Yahaya stressed. He acknowledged the operational challenges faced by the DSS, including logistics and capacity building, urging them to leverage the conference for innovative strategies.

**State Director of Security, Gombe State, Habu Sambo, reiterated the significance of collaborative efforts among stakeholders to combat insecurity.**
