Sani-Giant had been suspended following allegations that he brought a snake into the Government House on February 8, 2025 — an incident said to have caused panic among top dignitaries, officials, and respected statesmen. The party described his actions at the time as both alarming and a potential security threat, stating that the incident brought embarrassment and reputational damage to the APC.
However, in a statement released on Monday, the APC State Chairman, Muhammad Kana-Zuru, announced Sani-Giant’s reinstatement. He explained that the decision followed a review by the State Working Committee (SWC), which considered a formal letter of apology submitted by the adviser.
“The committee resolved to reinstate your membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the statement read.
“You are hereby directed to resume your official duties, with all rights and privileges fully restored.”
