Speaking at the flag-off of the All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign in Gboko on Wednesday, Alia, represented by his deputy Sam Ode, urged party supporters to mobilize efforts to secure victory for all APC candidates.

“His Excellency, Hyacinth Alia, is dedicated to ensuring the upcoming election is free and fair, promising to create a level playing ground for all political parties,” Ode stated. He then presented party flags to the 23 APC chairmanship candidates and their deputies, encouraging them to serve their constituents diligently.

In his welcome address, Benjamin Omale, the APC caretaker committee chairman, highlighted the committee’s role in addressing the grievances of aspirants and promoting unity within the party. He reaffirmed the state APC’s commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises and called on supporters to vote en masse for all APC candidates on October 5 for improved service delivery and the overall benefit of the people. Omale also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, the APC National Chairman, and the working committee for their support in fostering peace and unity within the Benue APC.
