The gathering, held at the residence of the national president of the association, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, in Tudun Wada, Karu local government area, included other prominent leaders of the organization.

During the meeting, the governor sought the collaboration of the sociocultural group in combatting the rising incidents of kidnapping, banditry, and other organized crimes within the state.

Governor Sule emphasized the necessity of the organization’s support, highlighting that a significant number of these criminal activities are attributed to individuals of the Fulani ethnic background.

He asserted that many of the incidents are carried out by foreign elements who infiltrate the region, causing widespread destruction and loss of life.

The governor underscored the potential contribution of the organization’s vigilante unit in assisting security agencies to track and prevent the incursions by these outsiders who often disguise themselves as herders.
