Governor Wike Sends Emotional Condolences To Samuel Ortom After Loss OF Tyozenda

In a statement released on Tuesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike described Tyozenda’s passing as an immense loss and encouraged the Ortom family to find comfort in God, “the giver and taker of life.”

Wike, deeply shocked by the news, shared his sympathies, stating, “The news of Mr. Tyozenda Ortom’s death was a rude shock to me, and I fully understand the pain that my brother and friend, His Excellency Dr. Samuel Ortom, must be feeling.”

Acknowledging the immense grief such a loss brings, Wike offered words of support, urging the family to find solace during this difficult time.

Though the sorrow is overwhelming, Wike reminded the Ortom family to seek strength in their faith. “As painful and sudden as this loss is, I urge the family to take comfort in God, who has made death a part of life,” he said.
