Posting via her Instagram story, Noor conveyed her anguish over losing her father, who died at the age of 82 in a London clinic on July 13, 2025.
“Daddy, I’m heartbroken that we won’t get to share the moments and experiences I had planned for us,” she wrote.
The former Head of State and two-term civilian president was buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday, July 15, in line with Islamic traditions.
His death sparked an outpouring of tributes from world leaders, political figures, and citizens around the globe.
Alongside her touching words, Noor offered a prayer for her late father: “I pray that you’re granted the highest place in Jannah, and your soul rests in eternal peace.”
