Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose celebrates as sitting Governor of Sokoto State, Tambuwal loses his re-election bid to the All Progressive Congress.
Recall that Ayo Fayose claimed he worked for APC& Tinubu in Ekiti State since Atiku and his camp which includes Okowa, Dino, Ayu, and Tambuwal amongst others were playing ” I too know”.

“But let me quickly say this, I am so excited, particularly by the loss of Gov Tambuwal’s election in Sokoto, you see when a man is treacherous they are a payback time, you betrayed your party in 2015, you ran back, you betrayed the Asiwaju you went to meet in APC, betrayed Wike that sponsored his election in 2019, it is his payback time.
“I appreciate the people of Sokoto for voting against Tambuwal and urge you again vote against him in the re-run. You see you are wonderful people”, He said while drinking champagne.
