Raimi, who represented Osun State, will go on to represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World Pageant scheduled to hold in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, 2025.

Celebrating her victory, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce wrote:
“Congratulations to 24-year-old Joy Mojisola Raimi, crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 at the grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. She stood out among 37 contestants from across the country.”

He highlighted that Raimi is not only a beauty queen but also a humanitarian at heart. She is the founder of the ‘Love for Humanity’ project, an initiative focused on spreading kindness and restoring hope.

In the final round, Raimi competed against strong contenders from Imo, Ebonyi, Abuja, and Abia states. When asked how she overcame bullying, she shared a moving story of losing her mother early in life and enduring abuse from a caregiver. Despite being told she would never succeed, she defied the odds and rose to greatness.

Now, as Miss World Nigeria 2025, she will carry the nation’s hopes to the global stage, competing alongside representatives from over 140 countries.
