The governor disbursed N185 million to the families of the deceased and those who survived the attacks.

The compensation ceremony, held at the Government House Chapel in Owerri on Monday, November 20, saw Governor Uzodimma expressing gratitude to the fallen heroes and the survivors of the attack, who were engaged in ‘Search and Flush Operations.

Uzodimma, acknowledging the sacrifice of the security agents, prayed for the families of the deceased to find strength in the face of irreparable loss and for the swift recovery of those nursing injuries.

The governor emphasized that the event underscored the gravity of insecurity in Imo State, revealing a more profound impact on the region than commonly perceived.
