Acknowledging Umahi’s commendable track record as the former governor of Ebonyi State, Ugochinyere appealed for urgent repairs to be carried out on the deteriorated sections of the Oba-Aguata-Akokwa-Arondizuogu-Okigwe Road, which spans across the Idemili North/Idemili South, Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo, Aguata, and Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituencies of Anambra and Imo States.

He remarked, “David Umahi achieved remarkable milestones during his tenure as the Governor of Ebonyi State. He initiated a road revolution that transformed the state capital into a city of pride.

He oversaw the reconstruction of all roads connecting the state’s 13 local government areas, the construction of numerous bridges, and the completion of over 17 flyovers.

“I urge him to extend this same commitment to the national level and address the persistent issue of poor road conditions in the country.

I specifically implore him to address the urgent need for repairs on the sections of the Oba-Aguata-Akokwa-Arondizuogu-Okigwe Road in the Idemili North/Idemili South, Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo, Aguata, and Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituencies of Anambra and Imo States.”
