The movie star shared his ordeal in an Instagram post on Wednesday, accompanied by a photo of himself with a hand injury.

Saidi revealed that losing his daughter was the most devastating challenge he had ever faced, leaving him shattered beyond words.

He further disclosed that just days before his birthday in 2025, he was hit with yet another setback but expressed gratitude to those who supported him during his difficult moments.

Reflecting on his journey, he wrote:

“It has been a tough ride. Last year, in February, on my birthday, I was full of optimism with well-laid-out plans, but unexpected challenges struck. The most painful of all was losing my precious, loving, and lovable daughter—it broke me into pieces beyond human understanding.

I am grateful for the people who stood by me during those trying times. I entered this year with hope, but just days before my birthday, the devil struck again. For those asking, this is why my birthday shoot only featured one hand.

Through it all, I continue to say Alhamdulilah, for Allah will never forsake us. Challenges will always come to test our strength, but we must stay strong and steadfast. May the Almighty be with us all.”
