Actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, recently shared his perspective on the ongoing DNA test controversy that has sparked discussions across social media platforms.
In an interview with TVC, Baba Tee delved into the root causes of the prevalent issue of paternity fraud in the country, attributing it to various factors such as upbringing and dissatisfaction in sexual relationships.
Expressing his viewpoint, Baba Tee emphasized that in cases of paternity fraud, the responsibility primarily falls on the woman involved. He firmly stated that regardless of any contributing actions from the man, the ultimate blame cannot be shifted away from the woman.
However, Baba Tee also revealed a remarkably forgiving stance, stating that he would be willing to accept a child that isn’t biologically his if his partner displays genuine remorse for her infidelity.
He asserted, “Women cannot justify paternity fraud by citing domestic violence or spousal infidelity. If a man mistreats you, it’s best to end the relationship.” Baba Tee reiterated that in matters of paternity, women bear the accountability since men do not conceive children.
On a personal note, Baba Tee expressed his willingness to embrace fatherhood regardless of biological ties if his partner remains faithful and regretful. He emphasized his belief in forgiveness, stating that he would readily accept and raise a child born out of infidelity if the mother shows sincere remorse.
This statement from Baba Tee follows his earlier remark about infidelity, where he controversially claimed that men are inherently predisposed to cheating.
