The one-time Rivers State governor, renowned for his outspokenness, stated, “The people’s choice was clear. If they believed Obi was the superior candidate, he would be our President today.”

Surprisingly, Wike revealed that he threw his weight behind APC’s Tinubu rather than his own party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar. This revelation, considering the political alliances and divisions, sparked discussions among political analysts.
