I Have No Regrets’ – Nedu Reacts To Backlash Over DeeOne Podcast Episode

During his appearance on the show, DeeOne alleged that controversial media figure, VeryDarkMan, is attracted to men.

In response, VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of exploiting his podcast to engage in intimate relations with rising entertainers in exchange for features. He also threatened to expose the names of women Nedu allegedly claimed to have been involved with in the industry.

The controversy sparked a major social media uproar, eventually leading to Nedu’s exit from the podcast.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview on TVC’s Breakfast Show, DeeOne revealed that he had deliberately set a trap for VeryDarkMan using Nedu’s platform.

“I orchestrated everything myself, but Nedu had no idea. If I had posted it on social media, people would accuse me of chasing clout for money. I needed a platform. I had been studying VeryDarkMan for months and wanted to determine if he was genuine or just manipulating Nigerians. While he gets some things right, most of the time, he jumps to conclusions and misleads people,” DeeOne stated.

Addressing the matter during a press briefing in Lagos on Thursday, Nedu reiterated that he stands by his decision to host DeeOne on The Honest Bunch Podcast.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I have no regrets about bringing DeeOne on the show. The Honest Bunch has positively impacted many lives,” he affirmed.
