Speaking during an interview on African A List, the actress became emotional as she recounted how her former husband allegedly left her and their children without explanation despite, according to her, having done nothing wrong during the marriage.

Fighting back tears, Fowoshere said the one question she still longs to ask her ex-husband is why he abandoned his family.

“The only person I’d really want to ask a question is my ex-husband. I’d really like to ask him what I did wrong because I did nothing before he left me and the kids. I want to ask what my children and I did to deserve what he did to us,” she said.

The actress also disclosed that the separation took a heavy toll on her mental health, claiming she spent one year and six months in the hospital while battling depression.

According to Fowoshere, the emotional pain became so overwhelming that she feared she was losing her mind.

“I spent one year and six months in the hospital battling depression after he left. I almost ran mad,” she revealed.

She further claimed that she and her children have had no contact with her former husband since he left, alleging that he blocked all communication with them seven years ago.

“We are not in contact. Since he left, we haven’t seen him. He blocked us seven years ago,” the actress added.
