I Was Almost Kidnapped In Broad Daylight!” – Akwa Ibom Woman Reveals Sh*cking Tactic That Made Passersby Ignore Her
A married mother-of-one in Akwa Ibom has shared a terrifying encounter with a would-be kidnapper that has left her followers stunned.
According to her account, she had left her phone at home while running errands when a man in a car approached her, asking for directions. When she admitted she did not know the location, the man began flirting with her. Upon rejecting his advances, he reportedly got out of his car and attempted to force her into the vehicle.
As she screamed for help, a small crowd gathered, but the man quickly spun a story, claiming she was his girlfriend whom he had sponsored through school and that she had previously been with him willingly. The bystanders reportedly sided with him, accusing the woman of being ungrateful for his support. Despite her desperate pleas, no one intervened, and the kidnapper continued trying to drag her into the car.
The ordeal only ended when an Igbo man stopped to confront the kidnapper, prompting her to prove her identity with her ID after the man lied about her name. Even then, the assailant persisted until a local vendor, known to the woman, finally came to her aid. The kidnapper eventually fled, leaving her shaken and horrified at how close she had come to being abducted while passersby watched without offering help.
