In a video posted on Instagram, the singer revealed that the incident occurred in February 2025, when she was already more than three months pregnant.

She recounted how it began with cramps while she was going about her daily routine, which she initially dismissed as something minor. However, she soon noticed light bleeding that gradually became heavier and persistent.

As her condition worsened, she said she quickly understood what was happening. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a missed miscarriage and performed a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure.

After returning home, Judikay said she tried to cope with the loss by allowing herself to grieve, hoping time would ease the pain. Despite this, she described the nights as particularly difficult, often waking up overwhelmed with emotions she struggled to put into words.

The singer disclosed that the loss marked the sixth time she had experienced such heartbreak, making the ordeal even more devastating for her.

She said:
*“In February 2025, I went through a pain that almost broke me. I was over three months pregnant when I started having cramps. At first, I thought it was nothing serious, but then I noticed some bleeding… and I knew what it meant.

At night, the pain felt unbearable. I would wake up crying, asking, ‘Jesus, where are you?’”*

Judikay, whose real name is Judith Kanayo-Opara, is married to Anselem Opara. The couple tied the knot in November 2020 and welcomed their first child, a son, in March 2022.
