Governor Adeleke made these statements during the inaugural edition of “Ipade Imole,” a quarterly interactive public engagement forum held in Osogbo on Thursday.

While highlighting his government’s accomplishments, Adeleke shared his plan to allocate the N2 billion palliative fund from the federal government to significant projects. These projects include the renovation and acquisition of additional buses for affordable transportation, as well as the rehabilitation of healthcare facilities.

He emphasized his dedication to the development of Osun and his willingness to contribute his security vote to finance state projects rather than keeping it for personal use, as some of his predecessors had done.

The Governor also outlined his administration’s priorities for the Infrastructure Support Fund provided by the Federal Government, which include the construction of a flyover in the state capital.

“We intend to utilize the N2 billion for various projects, including road dualization in two senatorial districts, flyover bridges in Osogbo and other towns, street lighting for newly constructed roads, a second phase of 332 boreholes across wards, the launch of the Imole transport service, and the development of the Imole Housing Estate with 500 units per federal constituency,” he explained.
