The statement stressed that any legitimate information regarding civil service recruitment would be formally issued by the Rivers State Civil Service Commission through authorized channels—not via unverified social media posts.

“We urge the people of Rivers State and the general public to disregard the fraudulent announcement. Accurate details will be released by the Rivers State Civil Service Commission at the appropriate time,” the statement read.
