A woman has sparked widespread reactions online after making an emotional and controversial statement about how she believes she would cope with the loss of a husband.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the woman, who disclosed that she is neither married nor a mother, said she finds it difficult to understand how some women manage to move on after losing their husbands.

She explained that the thought of losing a husband was particularly difficult for her to imagine, noting that she would struggle deeply with such a loss.

“I do not understand how women function after losing their husbands,” she said.

The woman went on to make a controversial comparison, stating that she would rather witness the death of her children than experience the death of her husband.

“I’d prefer watching my kids die in front of me than have my husband die,” she said.

She further emphasized the importance she places on a future husband, saying, “Everyone else can go, just not him.”

The woman acknowledged that she currently has neither a husband nor children and admitted that her perspective could potentially change if she eventually became a mother.

However, she maintained that she doubts motherhood would alter her feelings, saying she did not believe she would change her mind even if she had children.

She also expressed fear about experiencing such a loss, praying that she would never have to go through the death of a husband.

“May Allah protect me from such a fate,” she said, describing the thought of losing a husband as overwhelming.

“The thought alone paralyzes me. I’m not strong enough to endure that,” she added.
