The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has issued a warning to aviation industry stakeholders and professionals, urging them to refrain from making speculative comments about the recent Jabiru J430 aircraft crash that occurred in the Oba Akran area of Lagos on Tuesday.

Oketunbi highlighted the guidelines outlined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Annex 13, which details the processes for conducting an accident investigation.

He assured the public that NSIB would conduct a thorough investigation and release actionable recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He also cautioned against publishing inaccurate reports on the crash and urged commentators and the media to exercise patience and wait for the official outcome of the investigation before making public statements.
