During a recent interview with media personality VJ Adams, Shaffy Bello was asked to name her favourite action-comedy actors in both Hollywood and Nollywood. In her response, she described the late Sam Loco Efe as her favourite Nollywood comedy actor, while naming Samuel L. Jackson as her top choice in Hollywood.

Speaking fondly of Sam Loco, Bello said she would bring him back if it were possible, highlighting his lasting impact on Nollywood comedy.

She also commended Charles Inojie, describing his talent as natural and instinctive. According to her, his sense of timing—an essential element of comedy—is innate and cannot be taught or learned.

Reacting via his Instagram page, Inojie said he was overwhelmed by the praise, noting that receiving such recognition from a highly respected and internationally celebrated colleague left him speechless.

The actor described Bello’s remarks as the best New Year’s gift he has received so far, adding that the validation had strengthened his resolve to continue delivering excellence in his craft.

He expressed gratitude to Shaffy Bello and reaffirmed his commitment not to take the acknowledgment for granted.
