I’m Scared For People This December!” – Ruger Sends Chilling Warning Ahead Of Festive Season

Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has raised concerns over the growing wave of insecurity across the country, particularly the rising cases of kidnapping.

In a post shared on (formerly Twitter), the Asiwaju hitmaker lamented that kidnapping has now become a “full-time business” in several parts of Nigeria, warning that the situation could escalate during the upcoming festive period if urgent action is not taken.

Ruger said he fears for the safety of people returning home from abroad or travelling within Nigeria this December, noting that criminal elements may take advantage of the season.

He wrote:

“I’m scared for people this December. Kidnapping has become a full-time business in some parts of Nigeria and it’s only going to get worse this festive season. People will travel back to their villages from abroad and from many other places in Nigeria. These bastards will strike hard.”

Meanwhile, the Bae Bae crooner recently revealed that his mother has given him a December deadline to introduce a serious girlfriend.

Sharing the update on his Snapchat, Ruger said his mother threatened to find a woman for him if he failed to bring one home by year’s end.

The singer jokingly called on interested single ladies to send in their “applications,” warning that he might be “up for a distress sale” come December.
