The faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has released its timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, the group announced that the sale of nomination forms for all aspirants seeking tickets under the PDP will begin on April 27 and end on May 4, 2026.
The faction also fixed the Presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination Form at ₦51 million for the 2027 election cycle.
According to the timetable, the PDP presidential primary will hold between Sunday, May 17 and Monday, May 18, 2026.
The statement further outlined the cost of nomination forms for other elective positions: ₦3 million for House of Assembly aspirants, ₦4 million for House of Representatives, ₦6 million for Senate, and ₦21 million for governorship candidates.
It also noted that female aspirants will only be required to pay the Expression of Interest fee for their respective positions.
Bature explained that the schedule complies with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the 2026 Electoral Act, and the revised timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 general elections.
