He emphasized that with Nigeria’s vast pool of young talent, the 10th House of Representatives is committed to enhancing the country’s innovation and technology to achieve global competitiveness. Kalu assured that the National Assembly is focused on addressing key issues affecting Nigerian youths.
Reflecting on the theme of International Youth Day, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” Kalu highlighted the crucial role of youths in advancing digital technologies for societal progress. He acknowledged the challenges in the digital space but asserted that technology remains essential for future development.
Kalu stated, “In our rapidly evolving society, technology is the gateway to our future. The youth, as the largest demographic of users and innovators, are crucial in shaping global digital trends. They are essential in leveraging technology to address global challenges.”
He added, “With Nigeria’s abundant young talent, the 10th House is dedicated to advancing innovation and technology to enhance our nation’s global standing. Our initiatives include a national innovation strategy focused on digital transformation and programs to develop digital skills.”
Kalu concluded by urging all to support national unity and collective progress by engaging with the administration’s various initiatives and policies, affirming the House’s commitment to addressing the pressing concerns of Nigerian youths.
