Posting on X, she wrote: “As a Muslim woman, if my husband chooses to marry another, I would respectfully walk away. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to remain the only wife. Islam permits men to marry up to four wives, that’s not in question — but Islam also grants women the right to seek divorce, and I would exercise that.”
In response to critics who claimed her stance made her a bad Muslim, she explained that she was simply following her heart and couldn’t bear to watch the man she loves marry someone else.
