Speaking on The Breakfast Club in an interview released Tuesday, the singer described the scandal as one of the most painful moments of her life.

“When I spoke about the sex tape, that was how I managed to push through. But looking back, did I really process it? I don’t think so. I was deeply hurt… I was a victim,” she confessed.

Tiwa explained that her ex initially claimed the tape was shared by accident while trying to save it, only for her to later discover it was part of a reckless wager with his friends.

The singer also disclosed that she has been celibate for three years, following the end of her last relationship.

“I’ve gone three years without sex. It’s not something I crave or chase after. For me, intimacy comes only when I’m in love,” Tiwa said, adding with a laugh that she doesn’t even own sex toys: “Maybe I should. Perhaps people can gift me some for Christmas.”
