In an interview with Chude, he opened up about the slow start to his career and the patience required to reach this milestone.
Dike, who is also a trained lawyer, studied law at the University of Benin and completed the Nigerian Law School before fully committing to acting. He began his career in television, appearing in shows like Tinsel, and later gained wider recognition with roles in The Smart Money Woman, Game On, and Ricordi. In recent years, he has starred in Nollywood films that achieved commercial success.
Reflecting on his journey, Dike explained that while it took time to earn his first million, he never let the struggle show.
He said:
“It took me more than seven years to make my first one million naira as an actor. Before that, it wasn’t quick at all. But I’m not someone who shows suffering—so even if I struggled, you wouldn’t know. Reaching that milestone took time, probably seven or eight years.”
