Earlier today, former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and former Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo paid a condolence visit to Vice President Kashim Shettima and his delegation in London, as tributes continued to pour in for the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Vice President Shettima is currently in London on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to accompany the remains of the late President Buhari back to Nigeria for burial.
The Vice President’s delegation includes the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia.
The meeting was marked by solemn reflections on Buhari’s legacy, with both Jonathan and Akufo-Addo acknowledging his contributions to Nigeria, Africa, and the global community.
