Currently playing on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 13 goals in 16 appearances. His impressive performances have attracted interest from several top European clubs.

Yobo also believes Manchester United would be the perfect fit for Osimhen, pointing to his pivotal role in helping Napoli secure their first Serie A title in 33 years last season.

“In my view, it’s a perfect match. Victor and Manchester United would complement each other seamlessly, and I am confident he would thrive if he joins,” Yobo told AfricaFoot.

He acknowledged United’s recent struggles but emphasized their enduring legacy as one of the top football clubs in the world.

“Despite their transitional challenges, Manchester United remains a top-tier club, and that status is unlikely to change anytime soon,” he added.

It is worth noting that Osimhen recently turned down a transfer to United for January, which prompted a response from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. “If that’s the case, he can stay at Galatasaray. Perhaps Galatasaray should consider keeping Osimhen,” De Laurentiis said, according to La Repubblica.
