Julius Agwu Makes Shocking Revelation About His Sex Life After Brain Surgery
Nigerian comedian and actor Julius Agwu has opened up about the lasting effects of the brain surgery he underwent in the United States in 2015, revealing that the procedure affected his sexual function.
Agwu made the disclosure during an appearance on the Beer Parlour Talk Show, where he reflected on the severe health challenges he experienced after doctors discovered three tumours in his brain, including one reportedly about the size of a golf ball.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the comedian was asked whether the surgery had affected other aspects of his wellbeing. Responding candidly, Agwu revealed that he experienced sexual dysfunction following the procedure.
Other participants on the programme subsequently discussed the possible connection between the nerves involved in brain surgery and the effects described by the comedian.
Agwu also spoke about his contribution to Nigeria’s comedy industry, particularly his role in developing the combination of music and comedy that became a major part of his performances.
“Music comedy na me form am o, that is to tell you how my brain dey work,” he said.
The conversation later became emotional as Agwu broke down in tears while recalling the difficult period and how the health crisis affected his career, personal life and relationships.
The comedian alleged that some people he considered friends abandoned him after his health challenges, saying many of them stopped communicating with him.
“God wey I dey serve, anybody wey get hand for wetin happen to me. I go dey look. My friends deserted me. They stopped talking to me, many of them. It is well,” Agwu said.
His revelation adds to the comedian’s previous accounts of the difficult journey he faced following the discovery of the brain tumours and the treatment that followed.
