Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has disclosed that the mother of the late actor, Junior Pope, holds the belief that her son was the victim of foul play.

In a recent interview, Rollas discussed the astonishment expressed by Junior Pope’s Cameroonian mother regarding her son’s purported drowning. He further elaborated that CPR efforts were administered on Junior Pope upon his retrieval from the water after a four-hour ordeal, unfortunately, to no avail.

Rollas stated, “I was in the company of his mother yesterday, and the circulating rumors online are exacerbating her suspicion that her son met with foul play. I had to reassure her that I was also meant to be aboard the boat.”

He emphasized, “Anyone asserting that CPR was not performed on Jnr Pope is disseminating falsehoods. Regrettably, he was retrieved lifeless after enduring more than four hours submerged underwater.”
