JUST IN: Crucial Meeting Underway In Enugu With South-East Governors And Stakeholders

The South-East State Governors are currently in a crucial meeting with key stakeholders, including the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe. Naija News has learned that the meeting is being held at the Government House in Enugu.

All the governors from the Southeast region are attending the meeting in person: Alex Otti of Abia, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Charles Soludo of Anambra, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, and the host governor, Peter Mbah.

Although the meeting’s purpose has not been disclosed to the media, it is speculated to address security challenges in the area, the situation concerning the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, and the overall state of affairs in the region.
