The cascade of resignations began with the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Rivers State, Zacchaeus Adangor, marking the initial blow to Governor Sim Fubara’s government.

Subsequently, the exodus continued:

  1. Rivers State Commissioner for Works, Dax Kelly – Second commissioner to officially resign.
  2. Rivers State Commissioner for Social Welfare, Inime Aguma – Third commissioner to resign after Dax Kelly and Zacchaeus Adangor.
  3. River State Commissioner of Finance, Isaac Kamalu – Fourth commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, and Inime Aguma.
  4. Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Prince Chinedu – Fifth commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, Inime Aguma, and Isaac Kamalu.
  5. Rivers State Commissioner for Housing, Gift Worlu – Sixth commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, Inime Aguma, Isaac Kamalu, and Prince Chinedu.
  6. Rivers State Commissioner for Transport, Jacobson Nbina – Seventh commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, Inime Aguma, Isaac Kamalu, Prince Chinedu, and Gift Worlu.
  7. Rivers State Commissioner for Special Projects, Emeka Woke – Eighth commissioner to resign after Zacchaeus Adangor, Dax Kelly, Inime Aguma, Isaac Kamalu, Prince Chinedu, Gift Worlu, and Jacobson Nbina.
