Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the designated Olubadan, conducted an inspection of the newly constructed ultra-modern Olubadan Palace on Thursday, following Governor Seyi Makinde’s requirement for his health clearance five days earlier. Governor Makinde confirmed that the State Government had received the Olubadan-In-Council’s recommendation of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan, underscoring adherence to due process in the selection process.

In his remarks, Oba Olakulehin expressed gratitude for being alive to witness the project inspection, emphasizing the need for the people of Ibadan to appreciate God for the development.

He was guided on the tour of the new palace by Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole, the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, alongside other notable indigenes of Ibadan.
