The statement, signed by Odutayo Oluseyi, a spokesperson for the minister, emphasizes the immediacy of this handover process.

The agencies affected by this decision include the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Metrological Agency (NiMET), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

The government asserts that this strategic move is aimed at repositioning the aviation industry, aligning with the agenda of President Bola Tinubu, and ensuring a safe and efficient air travel experience for Nigerians.
