Kaduna Governor Sani Shakes Up Government With Major Fresh Appointments Full Details

The newly appointed officials are Ado Dogo Audu (Counselor for Political Affairs), Abubakar Shehu Giwa (Special Adviser on Political Affairs), and Ahmad Shehu Haruna (Special Adviser on Economic Matters).

In a statement shared with the media on Sunday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa, confirmed that all appointments are effective immediately.

Governor Sani congratulated the appointees, urging them to work together to develop and implement innovative programs and projects that will encourage citizen participation in governance and improve service delivery. He also expressed hope for divine guidance in their new roles.

The statement continued: “Hon. Ado Dogo Audu, the new Counselor for Political Affairs, is a seasoned public servant, a seasoned politician, and a successful businessman. He is a three-term member of the House of Representatives, where he served on several key committees. He chaired the House Committee on Army (2003–2007), House Committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity (2007–2011), and the Sub-Committee on Foreign Affairs (Asia–Pacific) from 1999 to 2003.

“Audu also served as Kaduna State’s Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources from 2013 to 2015. He is currently the Managing Director of Minafric Mining Company Limited, Director at Madu Kana Mining Company Limited, and Co-Owner of Narada Mining Company Limited.

“He holds a Diploma in Public Administration and has attended several short courses at the International Institute of Labour in Maryland, USA, Harboun University in London, and other specialized training in Italy, South Korea, and Thailand.

“Abubakar Shehu Giwa, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Political Affairs, is a renowned economist, distinguished administrator, and businessman. He served two terms as the Executive Chairman of Giwa Local Government in Kaduna State.”
