He reported significant property damage and instances of looting, including the theft of mattresses, rice bags, and other items. Onanuga shared a video showing an attack on a supermarket on Hadejia Road, captioning it, “The place attacked is a supermarket in Kano, all in the name of protest.”

In another post, he highlighted the destruction of an office, stating, “An office attacked in Kano. It is no longer a peaceful protest in the city.” Onanuga also posted images of protesters looting, taking furniture and other goods.

Additionally, he reported the vandalism of the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) building, noting, “Protesters go on rampage in Kano. Here is the gate house of the NCC set ablaze.
