The video depicted a security agent lying on the ground, leading to speculation that he was shot by a police officer. However, the Katsina Police Command has stated that the video is misleading and taken out of context. According to a statement from ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the public relations officer for the command, the individual shown in the video is a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who fell from a patrol vehicle due to an accident. This agent was promptly taken to the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina, where he was treated and later discharged.
